Deliciousmusic.co.nz has now been operating online for just over 6 months. Now hosting a database of over 60 New Zealand music artists, with a total of over 250 tracks available for free download - we have grown out of our website!
We at delicious are very lucky to have close ties with some great web developers who are willing to do a mega uber upgade of our website for a very generous price.
So, we are aiming to raise $1000 (USD) by the end of November and have the new site up by the end of February. To do this, we thought we would put our hat out and ask all of you fellow delicious humans for your support.

Key features and improvements of Delicious Music website
Browse music faster and easier
There is now a very large collection of music available on the delicious website and this is just going to keep growing, rapidly! One of the main improvements of the new website will be having the music categorised. Artists and tracks will be browsable and searchable by genre, tag, rating and most recently updated. This means you won't have to browse though half of the artists just to find the sound you are looking for.
Interact
The new site will be much more interactive for the users and artists, with options to comment on and rate articles, artists, tracks and more. There will also be a forum available for delicious discussions.
User registration and profiles
Users will have the option to sign up to delicious even faster simply by registering with their facebook login. They will have their own profile page, and access to a social network of delicious users, within delicousmusic.co.nz.
Support the artists
Artists will have the option to have a donate button on their pages. This will give fans the ability to show their support and appreciation for the artists, and help them to keep doing what they are doing.
Music production workshops Page
As some of you may know, we have started running free music production workshops at White Elephant Trust, 1 Bedford Row on monday nights. A workshops page will be put in place to advise on class times, topics that will be covered in upcoming classes and will also feature free video tutorials from the classes.
Music production resources
Here we will be offering free sample pack downloads contributed by our delicious artists. Drum samples, bass samples, FX samples, VST presets, real recordings and who knows what else!
