Messy Mass - BZZZ

Messy Mass BZZZ cover

"BZZZ" is a general term encompassing a variety of phenomena resulting in brain- overload, body spasms and difficulty speaking.

The word derives from new-nonsense and has since been used to describe how a variety of sound-elements, which are uncategorized, undefined and in its nature seeking the boundaries of modern moronic music.

Through weird synthesis, strange breaks and a truck full of rolling basses, Messy Mass is exploring "BZZZ" through a truly multi-genre vibe, painting a scrumptiously auditory 4 course offering that truly takes you to that 10am feeling on a sunny Sunday morning dance floor at an outdoor doof.

With a fast filling European 2012 schedule, Delicious Music is stoked to be working alongside one of our favorite and long serving European based artists.

Willy Electronarcosis - The Gratitude Melody

Sacramento, California based artist Willy Electronarcosis hits us with our final release for 2011. The single is a journey through psychedelic filled techno with uplifting morning vibes and it certainly brings smiles to the faces of the peeps in the Delicious office when it's playing.

Upon going to one of the legendary Southern California Mojave Desert Gatherings of Moontribe, Willy soon found himself enamored with the spirit of the outdoor parties and the rampant tribal techno being played to the hardcore fans who braved the trek out into the lost highways, to find the techno oasis. As the decade of the nineties began to near an end, Willy began collecting techno and house vinyl in the hope he could soon rock a dance floor, as he had been taught to in the deserts and warehouses of Los Angeles. Skip to 2011 - with more than 10 years solid experience playing up and down the states, Costa Rica and Japan to name a few, Willy has established himself as one of the true outdoor djs of the west coast US scene.

Delicious Music is amped to connect with him and his wider crew Terrakroma. A crew that is not unlike ours here at home so it's great to reach out and work with like minded people.

Spoonhead - Liquid Limerick - Free D/L

Spoonhead's ep cover for Liquid Limerick

Spoonhead is back with an epic 4 track EP and we're amped here at Delicious Music as this is our 10th release!

Words from the man himself:

The inspiration for the Liquid Limerick began with the vast South Pacific Ocean. Every morning I'd walk over the sand dunes to surf some waves and soak up some good vibes. On arriving home I'd fire up my computer and get to work infusing these experiences into music.

Then the earthquakes began. For many months sonic booms and huge wobbles pulsed through our city, destroying homes and lives. These natural events carved a new sound into this music. A more emotive sound. Humbled in the power of nature.

These have been and still are moving times. Physically, emotionally on many levels. To my brothers and sisters from Christchurch, New Zealand. You are all so inspiring, loving and tons of fun. I feel truly grateful for all the amazing times we've shared in our beautiful home Aotearoa.

This music is made for you to enjoy, share and experience. Immerse yourself in thesonic waves of the Liquid Limerick and let go.

Tides have turned - Olie Bassweight & Timmy P MC

Olie Bassweight is back with another free/ koha 2 track EP -  "Tides have Turned". This time teaming up with Wellington MC - Timmy P.

Both tracks are epicly produced big room bangers that we've come to expect from Olie, but, coupled with Timmy P - a new dimension is brought to the music. Soulful, deep and emotive, the 2 tracks bring Olie's production skills to a seemingly new level. I'm not normally the biggest MC fan, but, I will certainly be supporting this release via my radio show and in my sets. Great vocal delivery and a quality mix of singing and rapping. Ka pai guys... a great collaboration from 2 of Wellington's favourite sons.

They do things differently over here, so hit up the usual outdorr suspects if you wanna go - they text out directions, all very secret squirrel.
