Voted ‘Best DJ’ year after year in Drum & Bass Arena polls, being consistently the highest ranked drum and bass DJ in DJ magazine yearly poll, placed in the top 10 most influential people in dance music in Mixmag, named as the ultimate drum & bass icon by 1 Xtra, ANDY C is the undisputed leader of the international dance scene & is confirmed to headline this years massive Phat 11 Festival in the West Coast rainforest over 4 nights at New Years. Other leading international acts include Austrians CAMO & KROOKED, Canadian world-leading dubstep artists EXCISION & DATSIK who are drawing some of the biggest crowds ever seen to stadiums across the USA currently, Hollands BLACK SUN EMPIRE, Americans EVOL INTENT & a huge contingent from the UK including dubstep & drum n bass scene leaders BREAKAGE, D-BRIDGE, BREAK, LOEFAH DMZ & DIGITAL. As always the very best of NZ is also represented with THE UPBEATS, CONCORD DAWN, STATE OF MIND, TRUTH, OPTIMUS GRYME, SALMONELLA DUB, MINUIT, ELECTRIC WIRE HUSTLE, BENNY TONES, ORGANIKISMNESS, GROUCH, BULLETPROOF & TREI are just a few of the 100 or so acts to perform at the Inangahua site.

Phat has been bringing together lovers of bass heavy music for over 10 years now, with the festival itself now in its 7th year.
The scenic river bounded West Coast site has been developed to include flush toilets, hot showers, a reticulated water supply & an eco-friendly grey water sewage system which along with the festivals recycling schemes & total ban on glass ensures a comfortable camping experience for both first time & experienced party goers.
This year additional features have been planned including a “bouncy castle circus” to be installed by BigUps of Dunedin which will include an indoor soccer stadium, boxing & sumo wrestling, a climbing wall & chill-out areas all set in the lush bush adjacent to the 2nd music Zone.
