Artist Bio

Stray Theories is the ambient electronica project of Australian musician/composer Micah Templeton-Wolfe who is currently based in New Zealand.

After many years of performing & recording with various bands throughout Australia, he began producing electronic music in 2000 and launched the Stray Theories project not long after. His music has been described as a “fusion of atmospheric ambient & melodic chillout music, with touches of nu-jazz and cinematic soundscapes”.

The sounds of Stray Theories have appeared worldwide on multiple compilations (including Sony Music - Bar Lounge Classics Digital), Documentaries, Short Films, Multimedia Projects and Art Installations, as well as being played regularly on radio shows around the globe, including "The Rehab Show" - KissFM (UK), UPfm (NZ), FBi Radio (AUS), Ibiza Global Radio and many more.

In 2010 the EP “A Different Kind Of Silence” was released exclusively through Bloodsugar Records (Germany). A second EP titled “Hopeful” is to be released in 2011.
