'Spoonhead' is a strange hybrid creature. Described as having a core of reptilian progressive, some bird-like wings of break beat and mountain gorilla glitch-hop feet for stomping and climbing. Spoonhead is known for his noisy, unusual call, combining bellbird-like notes with clicks, cackles, timber-like creaks and groans, layered over heavy pulsating bass sounds and tight kick drums—the unusual possession of 2 voiceboxes enables Spoonhead to perform such a myriad of vocalisations[citation needed]. Some of the huge range of Spoonhead's sounds are beyond the human register. Watching a Spoonhead set, one can observe gaps in the sound when his beak is agape and throat tufts throbbing. Spoonhead will appear at night, especially around the full moon period[2].

Habitat: Commonly found in New Zealand with various international sitings across Australia.
