In 2005 Isaac Chambers burst onto the New Zealand dance music scene with his ubiquitous limit-pushing, stereo-type smashing style. He has been producing creative, intelligent sound since 2002.
He was previously known as ‘Psyzaak and the freakin durkka durr’, and released the track “Freedom for sale” under that alias on “Native Harmonics Records” In 2007.
Isaac’s music is a fusion of deep, driving progressive trance and tech house grooves with a sprinkling of crispy glitch, a touch of psychedelia and a hearty dose of sexy electronic goodness and instrumental lushness. Taking the best from each genre, Isaac’s diverse style refuses to be pigeonholed. This is infectious, uplifting electronic music without style boundaries. Isaac has headlined many indoor and outdoor gigs, including Chartfest, Luminate Festival, Canaan Downs Festival, Voyage, Mystic Forest and M*A*S*S*I*V*E production equinox and solstice parties. Currently based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Isaac is working on a variety of projects, including his Alias MILLION BUXX as well as collaborative projects Southern Shift and the Teabaggers. Isaac has collaborated with a variety of dance music heavyweights, including Antix (Iboga), Loopus in Fabula (Fabula Rec), Grouch (Zenon/Up), Tom COSM, Spoonhead, Pieter Borgh (Iboga), Jess Chambers & Module (Loop).
